Complete relief!

After a week and a half of painting, refinishing furniture and building racks we are finally in and open for business! Everything in the store we either pulled out of my aunts barn, bought online or at an antique festival.

My favorite piece is this antique buffet that I bought and pulled out of this lady's garage. I paid $90 for it and when I got it I had no clue what to do with it. I bought some blue chalk paint (bold move, I know) and my friend Whitney helped me get started. I liked it once we finished painting it, but definitely needed the dark wax to go over it. The finished look is a dark teal color and all the hardware needed was a little gold spray paint. I just love the completed look!

Stop in to the store and check out our clothes. We will be getting in new shipments this week with some new fall items!

I bought this hutch from a woman on Craig's List and had no idea what I was going to do with it. I bought some blue chalk paint and a dark wax and winged it. I really had no clue how it would look at the end.

The finished hutch! We found 2 mirrors that I loved the detail on and decided to hang them above the hutch. Even though they didn't come together they look great there, I think.

One of the first photos I took of the store as things were coming together! We got things cleaned up and ready to go pretty quickly.
